| CHARLES D. WRIGHT |
| Charles D. Wright is a founder/partner of Cochran, Uhlmann, Abney, Duck and Wright. His practice areas are general civil and criminal law with emphasis on property and casualty insurance law, personal injury law and commercial litigation. He was admitted to the Tennessee State Bar in 1974 and to the Mississippi State Bar in 1975. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Tennessee and Mississippi, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Wright attended Mississippi State University, receiving his bachelor's degree in science in 1957. He then received a Master's in Business Administration from The University of Memphis in 1968 and his juris doctor from the University of Memphis Law School in 1974. Mr. Wright also served in the United States Army and retired from the Reserve with the grade of Colonel. Mr. Wright was a member of the Shelby County Public Defender Staff for 30 years and prior to entering the practice of law, he was an insurance claim representative and manager. Mr. Wright is a communicant of Rosewood United Methodist Church and an active member of both the University of Memphis and Mississippi State University Alumni Associations. |
